Dr. Tony TropeaSports Medicine Expert – Dr. Tony Tropea D.C.

US Soccer Coaching has teamed up with a local Sports Medicine Expert to assist with all of our clients, members and trainers. Dr. Tony Tropea has a B.S Degree from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada and his doctorate comes from Palmer in San Jose, where he was awarded a clinical excellence certification. Dr Tropea's clients include: the Ice Hockey, Basketball and Rugby teams at Concordia University, Montreal Supra Professional Soccer Team and Montreal Alouettes Professional Football Team. Individuals he has worked with have included Ronnie Stern, former San Jose Sharks Hockey player, and Patrice Brisebois of the Montreal Canadians Hockey Team. Some of Dr Tropea's most fond memories came when working with 1999 US Amateur Open Golf Championship at Pebble Beach, the 2000 US Open Championship at Pebble Beach, the 1998 Womens Basketball Championship and the 1995 NHL All Star Game. Dr Tropea is fluent in English, Italian and French and his office is based in Mountain View, California.

sports medicineThe partnership between Dr. Tropea and US Soccer Coaching is unique to the youth soccer market in Northern California with the aim being to educate all coaches, players and parents in the correct methods of stretching, diet, nutrition, biology, nutrition, injury prevention, child welfare and anything to do with a child’s body in sport.

Dr Tropea is also responsible for all of US Soccer Coaching’s images, text and videos resources on these techniques, the content for our members newsletter, workshops we deliver to our clients and the US Soccer Coaching Sports Medicine Diploma that all of our trainers go through as part of their development with us.

In the future US Soccer Coaching will be able to offer a range of services including:
